Im very excited to get this season started the last season i hunted spring turkey was in 2008. I didnt shoot a bird b/c i was consumed with putting other people on birds . Last year i was very busy and i didnt even carry a gun in the truck, but this year is going to be better i have new spots as well as my old ones. im going to have fowlmouth mount up a strutting tom and use it as a decoy along with my pretty boy , 4 other hens and 2 jakes

I can't wait either. I use a simple decoy set up. 1 tom, 1 jake, and 1 hen. I am thinking about adding another hen though.

Back in the 1940s scientists discovered that a mature wild turkey’s body is covered with nearly 6,000 feathers!
