I think you're the only one. I am originally from Minnesota and I have reletives in Cedar Rapids. Most of us are from Missouri.

My grand parents were from Mo but migrated to Iowa. I wish they would have stayed in Mo, it's a nice state with a lot of outdoor things to do.

iowa is killer on geese , its seems like every one has a band in that state

You're right, if you can get in fields, you can get a lot of geese. The trick is like always, do a lot of scouting.

Swapping a weekend sounds good for next year. I live just north of Cedar Falls which is approximately an hour or so from Cedar Rapids where Hunter Dave has relatives. For duck, I hunt a local marsh quite a bit and have a field just south of the marsh that I can get on if the ducks are feeding there. The marsh has a no kill zone for canadian geese but where the farm is located, you can legally hunt the field on the south side of the road.
